"APC has run Oyo State bankrupt" - Olatunji, Accord Party Spokesman
"members of Accord party in Oyo State are blatant Liars" - Adetunji, APC member
The spokeman of Accord party in Oyo State, Akeem Olatunji has accused Senator Abiola Ajimobi led administration of driving Oyo State into bankruptcy.
As gathered by ExplorenceBlog, Olatunji made this known today while featuring on a radio program at Fresh 105.9FM Ibadan tittled " Cross Fire"
In his word, he said that Oyo State is generating 50 billion naira as Internally Generated Revenue (IGR), but they can only account for 18 billion they claimed to be generating annually, "since the inception of this administration in the last six years, there has been increment in tax and the welfare of the people has been diminishing on daily basis"
"During Ladoja's tenure, we took care of workers, we paid their salaries every 25th of each month, LAUTECH was rated one of the best three state universities in Nigeria during Ladoja's tenure, we used to have 30 students per class in our secondary schools, we built classrooms for our students, so this has showed that Ladoja administration has succeded in terms of education more than the Ajimobi led executive in Oyo State.
The Accord party spokesman however challenged the APC administration in Oyo State to come out and explain how Oyo State students took 21% in this year WAEC result that was released recently and also addressed the issue of LAUTECH that has been on strike several months ago
He added that the office of the Oyo State Auditor General has been vacant since the APC has come into power for the past six years which can lead to looting of the state's treasury.
While disbanding the claim, Adetunji a member of APC in Oyo State also featuring on the same programme said members of Accord party in Oyo State are blatant liars who use fabricated lies to mislead the people. "members of Accord party in Oyo State are known for their fabricated lies, they critizise our administration blindly not even looking or talking about our achievements for the last six years of our tenure"
Adetunji explained further that Oyo Accord party are merely noise makers who used their lies to mislead the people
"Our achievements are there to serve as our witness, we have acheived in the area of agriculture, security, health sector, education, commerce and industry, clean environment, and welfare of our people to mention few", he reiterated.
The APC man however urged the people to continue to support the Senator Abiola Ajimobi led administration in Oyo State so that Oyo State can be better for all. "We will try all our best for the people of Oyo State and we shall fulfill all our promises that we have made during electionering campaign" he concluded.
