The Acting President, Prof. Yemi Osibanjo, has approved the appointment of 21 permanent secretaries in the Federal Civil Service.
The permanent secretaries will fill vacant positions in 20 states and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
The Director of Press, Office of the Head of Service, Imrana Haruna, said in a statement on Thursday that the appointments were announced in a statement signed by the Head of Service, Mr. Winifred Oyo-ItaThe 21 permanent secretaries were among the 59 directors who sat for an interview for the appointment of permanent secretaries on July 27, 2017.
The new permanent secretaries are Ehuria Ekeoma (Abia state), Akpan Sunday (Akwa Ibom), Anagbogu Ifeoma (Anambra State), Walson-Jack Didi (Bayelsa), Gekpe Grace (Cross River), Aliboh Lawrence (Delta), Uwaifo Clement (Edo), Folayan Olaniyi (Ekiti), Osuji Ndubisi (Imo), Mu’azu Abdulkadir (Kaduna), Suleiman Mustapha (Kano), Abdulahi Abdulazeez (Katsina) and Adebiyi Bolaji (Lagos).
Others are Ibrahim Musa (Nasarawa), Odewale Samson (Ogun), Adesola Olusade (Ondo), Adekunle Olusegun (Oyo), Nabasu Bitrus ( Plateau), Okaro Comfort (Rivers), Umar Mohammed (Sokoto) and Aduda Gabriel (FCT).
