Ayomide and I were classmate
We fell in love but We couldn't date
Love is the key but still We couldn't access Cupid's gate
Our studies deprived our feelings so, we had to accept fate
Blessing became a curse because We were course mate
Maybe when we graduate, in hope we hoped and had faith
We suffered academic traumas in the long wait
Couple We hoped We become and matrimony was all that awaits
Ayomide and I became graduate
Distance had a way so we couldn't date
My memory travelled in memories when I heard Ayomide has travelled to Kuwait
Never say never, maybe, it's never too late
Seasons passed as Ayomide's return awaits, I hope I could wait
I was a believer of Love so, I had a strong faith in the long wait
Only to discover after several years that Ayomide has married a Kuwaiti in Kuwait
I felt jilted, indeed I felt cheated but truly Ayomide and I only flared love, there was never a promise or a date
I've come to a conclusion where thoughts and decisions conglomerate
Being classmates stained our love and School was all that made our love contaminate
Now, my life is in a state they call deteriorate
This is the reason why I love Education but School is all I hate...
