{POEM}: AND HE SLEPT

God weary from creation,
looked down on the world,
beautiful and beaming with,
exceeding and incomprehensible beauty.

He smiled down on the Earth,
where the trees clapped their hands in
glee to the melodious
rendition of the birds.

The Brooks and streams,
purred in uncontainable delight
as they headed to
their home in the river.

A land of bountiful,
which laughed with an
abundant harvest when
tickled ever so slightly by the hoe.

A land at peace with
itself and with nature and seasons
And God sighed with contentment,
And slept the great weary sleep of a creator.
